MTSS Support

HAL
MTSS stands for multi-tiered system of supports. It’s a framework many schools use to give targeted support to struggling students.
The tiers of support are a huge part of MTSS. They get more intense from one level to the next. For example, a child getting small group interventions may need to “move up” to one-on-one help.
Our goal is to provide intense instruction to small groups of students in areas where they need the most help.
I assist students during Pride to
develop long and short term goals. This includes assisting in helping students to maintain academic progress through the timely completion of school work, organizational planning, study skills, social and emotional learning and team building.
I communicate with each student’s teachers and
parents on academic progress.
I am an advocate for students in my Pride and available to serve as a resource person for the student.
